Hajrat Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti of Ajmer has the highest place in Sufism.
A sufi undergoes a course of training in regular prayers and meditation to realize Devine knowledge and realization of Truth. The object of a sufi is to attain the highest spiritual perfection. He has no attachment for his parents children, wealth, powers and comforts. A sufi means one who wears suf (wool).
There are four main categories (Silsilos) of Sufism viz. Qadria, Chistia, suharwardia and Naqshbandia. Hajrat Khuwaja oinuddin Christi belong to Chistia order.
After parda (demise) of Hajrat Mohammad Sahab the torch of Islam and its teaching wre revealed by the Sufis. The Sufis follow the Quranic law. A few spiritual practices like aurad (Qiuranic Verses) Sama, Ibadat (Preaching) and service to mankind are common to all Silsilas. The Sufi’s strees on humanitarian cause and serve mankind. As a result of this thinking, people from all religious were attracted to Sufis and they became devotees (Murid) of Sufis practice Shariat and Control their Nafs (soul)Myasticism is gist of Sufism. A Sufi has to pass through Mujaheda (मुजाहेदा) Mukashfa(मूकश्शफ़), Hall (State) Wajd (वज्द) Sama (समां)
The Sufis hate pomp and show, comforts of life and worldly pleasure and relation, They never accepted patronage of the emperors. As a matter of fact the emperors themselves used to visit their Khankas and bow before them. The Khankas are abode of the Sufis. On the occasion of death anniversaries US (उर्स) are observed. Lakhs of people from all religious and even from abroad visit their Khankas and take part in Urs. Their wishes are fulfilled and they get spiritual peach and happiness. The tombs of Sufis are attractive monuments with artistic beauty.
Hajrat Khawaja oinuddin Christry Hajrat Makhdoom Sabri, Hajrat Baba Farid, Hajrat Nizamuddin Auliya. Hajrat Bukhtiar Kaki, Hajrat Hameeduddin Nagori, Hajrat Mujadid Alfe-sani and Hajrat Ameer Khusro are famous Sufis and Aulias of India.

Hajrat Baba Sahab’s Khanka is a place of religious harmony, national integration and brother hood. He solves the problems of Zaireen (जायरीन) and bless them for their happiness. Many people haunted by evil spirits, witch craft do visit his Khanka and they are relieved from these evils. His visitors include serious patients of diseases like cancer, paraysis and heart attach are also benefited. He does not accept any gift or money.
